This year, due to my joining the Royal Navy, I couldn’t (thought I’d rather not) run the West Highland Way. So, I chose to be (was told by Mrs pacepusher that I would be) marshalling the race instead. The big question is though, which was better? Marshalling or running?
Well…
Marshalling… all the free kit, but no training, no race fee, and, wait for it, you don’t have to run the bloody thing… Genius!
Running… well, I’m in the process of completing my application form for the Tooting 24 hour track race (any comments?), and, if I’m around next year, and I’m accepted, I’ll be on the start line for the WHW 2011… bring it on!
I guess running wins!
